Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Muzayyin account and all your personal data directly from the app, at any time — no need to email support or fill out a form.
How to delete your account
- Open the Muzayyin app and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll down to the Account section.
- Tap Delete Account, then confirm.
What happens immediately
Your account is deleted right away — this is not a "deactivation" and cannot be undone. The following are permanently removed:
- Your profile — name, email, phone number, gender, date of birth, and photo.
- Your saved addresses.
- Your favorite branches.
- Your login credentials — you will no longer be able to sign in with this account.
- Your device's push notification token.
What's kept, and why
Barbershops keep records of completed appointments for their own business and accounting purposes. Your past bookings stay on file with the shop(s) you visited, but your name and contact details are removed from your account — the records are no longer linked back to you as a person.
If you're also a staff member
Some people use the same account both as a customer and as staff at a barbershop (e.g. a barber who also books through the app). Since it's the same login, deleting your account also removes your staff/dashboard access. Your historical staff records (past shifts, bookings you handled) are kept for the shop's records but unlinked from your login the same way.
